Music This Week Sept 30th thru Oct 6th

Hey there,
There is a lot of great music this week. As always it seems I need to be at several places at once. There are two benefits, Light the Night Benefit and Camp Kiwanis, Danielsville BRWA Benefit, please check them out and give your support.
There are two shows in remembrance of two stars in the Athens music scene whose bright light is no longer with us. Fri is the Concert for Carl Lindberg and Sun is Paul Scales’ tribute show. Please come out and celebrate these wonderful souls we lost far too soon.I will be at both celebrations even though some of my favorite Don’t Miss shows are playing elsewhere. My personal picks include Roadkill Ghost Choir, Lotus and The Hip Abduction, all playing during the Concert for Paul.
Also a quick heads up, the 31st Annual North Georgia Folk Festival is Sat. October 10, 2015 at Sandy Creek Park. It’s always a good time, great food and fantastic music. Caroline Aiken, The Squalls and Hobohemians to name a few.
