Music This Week Sept 2nd thru Sept 8th

Hey there,
I saw something on the Science Channel which triggered a great memory I had forgotten. I was in a hang glider plane over the Sawtooth mountains in Idaho. I saw a perfectly circular rainbow. I found out all rainbows are circular but from the ground we only see part of them. You have to be at altitude where the sunlight is coming in at 41 degrees to see the whole rainbow. I wonder if the Leprechauns knew this when they chose rainbows to hide their gold since a circle has no end.
There is a wealth of fantastic music this week. Unfortunately I won’t be in town to see them so if any of you would record them I’ll post them. I am especially interested in hearing Last Waltz Ensemble, JJ Grey & Mofro, JGBCB, Saint Francis, The HEAP, Po Boys and most of all Sumilan since it has been too long since I heard them.
There is still time to get your Lockn’ ticket, the DON’T MISS festival of the year.
Please don’t forget the Athens Human Rights Festival fundraiser at Terrapin Beer Co. Friday Sept 18th 5:50 – 7:30 pm. The Shadow Executives will be playing.
