Music This Week Sept 14th thru Sept 20th

Hey there,
We have JakeFest at the Caledonia Lounge this Fri and of course the same night is Caroline Aiken and a new project, More Popular Than Klaatu. I will try to catch the latter show.
I finally caught something I have tried to catch for a long time, The Best of Unknown Athens. My friend Liam Parke has been putting this show on for quite a while but I was either on the road or scheduled somewhere else.I have always tried to do my recordings in the highest quality so the quality of the musicians shows through. The Best of Unknown Athens goes beyond that as this show lets the quality of the person come out. Liam’s questions to the musicians sheds light on their mindset when writing the song, playing the song and reflecting back on the song. He also gets the musicians to open up on what is important in their lives currently. It is a very enjoyable and educational. I highly recommend. The last one is at:
Go to Youtube for lots of earlier shows.
I have caught up with the recent postings. I have all of Lockn’ posted. I also have last night’s The HOOT! posted. Enjoy
