Hey there,

Please come out and join us for a beer and a great show. Help us raise funds for next year’s festival. BTW we had a whopping $39 left after last year’s festival.
Fri. Abbey Road Live is doing a special John Lennon birthday show.
This Sat. Oct 8th is the 32nd Annual North Georgia Folk Festival. The festival runs from 11:00 until 9:00 at Sandy Creek Park, 400 Bob Holman Rd in Athens, a full day of outstanding folk music, arts and crafts, food, supervised kid’s activities, and lots of fun.
Sunday is the 7th Annual AthHalf Half Marathon to help raise money to support music and arts education for K – 8 youth.
Well I was overly optimistic about getting to town for some shows. This drought is really taking its toll on  me. I spend most of my time trying to keep plants and trees alive. I did catch Ralph Roddenbery and Mister Tie Dye. I had a hunch Mister Tie Dye would be a good bet. It was fantastic, their first show and they packed Hendershot’s. Both shows are posted so check them out.
Something I’ve been meaning to mention is the incredible painting Timi Conley did for The Wild Rumpus. It is at Hendershot’s, I highly recommend y’all check it out. Beautiful. Also check out The Wild Rumpus, Athens’ Halloween event: .
