Hey there,
Just in case you missed it, we set a record at Terrapin for the largest 2 hour tour night crowd. When I throw a party I don’t do it half way! They have had larger crowds but that was when they had half or all day events like the Hop Harvest Festival coming up this Sat. I highly recommend attending. Thank you again to Jessica and Rainey at Terrapin and Eric Haas for the PA (if your band needs a PA for a show, contact me and I’ll give you his number). Also thank you for Tina Sais for the poster and especially to Cosmic Charlie. Unfortunately people were not aware that AHRF received nothing from the sale of the beer glasses so the donations were not as much as we had hoped. If anyone would like to make a donation they can do so at: http://www.athenshumanrightsfest.org/6
I have posted the show so people can hear the incredible performance of Cosmic Charlie at: http://livemusicathensga.com/play_music-2/

BTW all the links to music to play should be working now, please let me know any problems you find.

Here is Ben Folds Five (musicians not mathematicians) on Colbert. Good but we have better right here in Athens. http://www.colbertnation.com/the-colbert-report-videos/419677/october-01-2012/ben-folds-five—-do-it-anyway–
Here is something I found very interesting, light painting:

I was going to Adam Payne’s show tonight but am still trying to get this email out so probably won’t make it.
Great week for music, good mix of locals and out of towners. As always everything piles up on the same day, this time it is Sat with too many choices and the SC football game.I will definitely be at Craig Lieske’s show and will try to make LASSINE KOUYATE Wed. Thurs is Dank Sinatra. Fri will be Caroline Aiken and then TAJ. Sat is tough, I’ll definitely be at Sandy Creek for N GA Folk festival (I have volunteered to help), then catch the game, then Lazy Locomotive.Sun I’ll be at Dodd Ferrell Mon I’ll try to catch Ty’s Solid Gold Country Tues I’ll definitely be at Leftover Salmon (one of my favorite shows at Wanee), then to Adam’s show.
I hope to see y’all at the shows.
Peace and Love,
Kurt
