Music This Week Oct 14th thru Oct 20th

Hey there,
Once again our reputation has preceded us. Athens’ music scene brings in bands that would normally be playing in cities like Atlanta and skipping cities our size. There is a ton of great out of town acts coming thru this week.Tedeschi Trucks, The Revivalists, The McLovins, The Werks to name a few. Bummer I’ll miss The Revivalists but I’ll be at Magnolia Fest and will at least catch Tedeschi Trucks there.
I did manage two hat tricks, three different venues in one night. Abbey Road Live, Funk Brotherhood and Hibbard/Wight Quartet on Fri and Sat Randall Bramblett, Kenosha Kid and the North GA Folk Festival (although it was rained out and the recordings weren’t the best as the rain was so loud it drowned out the music). I should have all those shows and more posted before MagFest. I’d love it if anyone would record The Revivalists for me, they are one of my favorites.
BTW before I forget, I have a favor to ask of y’all. The Google analytic program checks to see if you played a song all the way to the end. Since I now post the whole show as a single piece and I don’t think everyone listens all the way to the end, please click on the progress bar near the end of the show and let it play to the end. Hopefully that will help with the bands getting credit for a song played to the end. Not exactly correct but should help offset  any problems caused by my posting whole shows.
