Music This Week Oct 12th thru Oct 17th

Hey there,
Well the 1/3 of an inch of rain from the hurricane didn’t go far. I’m back to spending my days lugging water to try to keep alive plants that have been established for decades. With them spread around the 18 acres by the time I stop for the day, I’m too tired to go into town for a show (main reason this is late). Sure glad the politicians tell me global warming is a myth.
Yet another reason to ask again for someone to help with the recordings.
This week we have a lot of great music, as always most of the shows I want to attend are on the same night. Tonight I’m trying to get to Elephant Revival and River Whyless but would also love to catch Jim White or The Groove Orient. Thursday I’m trying for Whisper Kiss with the return of Karen Bergmann but also there are Unplugged for the Cottage a benefit the sexual assault center, Hog-Eyed Man or MrJordanMrTonks shows. Saturday I’m out of town but would love to catch Baghouse and Marc Gilley, Cindy Wilson, Pylon Reenactment Society and Monsoon but most of all Fat Arm Daddy at the Office Lounge. Fat Arm Daddy  is the band playing at the fundraiser for the 39th Athens Human Rights Festival. It will be at Terrapin Beer Co. Fri Oct 21th from 4:30 to 7:30 PM.
