Music This Week May 22nd thru May 28th

Hey there,
Wow, last night’s Kenosha Kid was off the hook. Two drummers with Marlon also filling in for Robbie on an electronic bass. As soon as I finish this I’m starting to work on editing and posting the show. Y’all really should check them out. It seems like the 6 day residency last March has kicked them to a higher level and they were already in the stratosphere.
On a serious note this Fri at Caledonia is billed as Skatin’ vs. Satan Benefit but is also a fundraiser for some of the finest people in the Athens music community, Melanie and Gary Causby. Their 27 year old daughter Nicki has been diagnosed with glioblastoma  a cancer in her brain. Please join me in sending healing energy to her and please stop by Caledonia and donate any thing you can. Thank you.
We haven’t finalized the lineup for the rescheduled 35th AHRF but I will post it as soon as we do. Just save the date, June 8th on College Ave as always. Please think sunshine.
