Music This Week Mar 20th thru Mar 26th

Hey there,
Lots of things going on this week. Don’t Miss Breastfest at Terrapin this Sat.
Tomorrow is 1st day of Spring, the vernal equinox and my birthday!
Last night Kenosha Kid was off the hook. I have seen then over 80 times and
never heard them play better, doubling the size of the band didn’t hurt. Keep in
mind that was just the start of an epic 6 day run. These are definitely my Don’t
Miss shows. As much as I like STS9, I didn’t even consider going to their shows
as I was going to Kenosha Kid. I didn’t plan on Springfest being the same
week. I leave Thurs for Suwannee but have my friend Kenny Copes recording
Kenosha for me. The attachment is a piece of the tune Vanishing Point from last night. It should give you a taste of what you’re missing. I’ve never heard Kenosha like this.
I would have used this week differently as there is a lot of bands playing I
haven’t heard of and would like to check out. I’d really appreciate it if y’all
would send me an email telling me about any good shows I missed and should
check out the next time they come through Athens. I also wanted to check out Up Your Athens Fest.
