Music This Week June 10th thru June 16th

Hey there,
I still haven’t completely shaken the depression from Carl’s passing. I made major progress at last Thursday’s Old Skool Trio. Even though it was bitter sweet, hearing people talk about the countless little Carlisms, things he would say or do at certain points in their shows, helped. Things that made him so universally loved and respected. I think what helped the most were the hugs and love of the people who were touched by Carl. Thank you in particular to Melissa. I haven’t had a chance to start working on the music postings, but the Old School Trio will be the first thing I’ll post.
This Sat I’ll be heading to Atlanta for a special show. I thought I was just going to record the kids playing in the Fare The Well Summer Camp Finale. That is Atlanta’s version of our Camp Amped. I just today found out that the Yonrico Scott Band will also be playing. It is at Music On Main Street in Lilburn and starts at 6 pm. Check them out at:
