Music This Week Feb 26th thru Mar 4th and AHRF update

Hey there,
Please mark the date and attend the 36th Annual Athens Human Rights Festival Fundraiser at The Office Lounge this Saturday March 1st at 8pm. We have a great lineup,  Holly Belle and Friends and The Po’ Boys are performing. There is a suggested $5 cover but we won’t turn anyone away and you definitely won’t hurt our feelings if you want to give more. Our Battle of the Bands will be held on April 19th at Nuci’s Space. If you would like to participate or if you have any questions, please send us an email at ahrf.battleofthebands@gmail.com.I will send a separate email later this week with the full info. BTW the AHRF meetings are Tuesdays at 6pm at Nuci’s Space and are open to the public. Please come by and join us. Also we’re taking submissions for this year’s festival logo through mid-March and will pick one to be printed on our T-Shirts and to use as our stage backdrop. For more info or to submit your artwork, send email to Jeff Hannan: tshirtjeffh@gmail.com

I haven’t had time to start working on AURA Festival recordings, so I won’t be in town recording a lot this week. I will of course be at The Office Lounge for the AHRF fundraiser on Sat and Big C’s Blues on Mon. I know I will be recording more because there are a lot of great bands in town this week, I just don’t know what my schedule will allow.
I hope to see y’all at the shows.
Peace and Love,
Kurt
