Music This Week Dec 18th thru Dec 24th

Hey there,
Light start of the week but really steps up starting Thurs. One of my favorites, breathlanes does a rare duo show and good friends Ty Manning and Kelly Hoyle Fuller tie the knot. Leave it to Ty to use the holidays as a reminder of his wedding anniversary (something you don’t want to miss if you want to keep having them!)
I finally finished posting the AURA Music Festival. Incredible start to finish. If you like Stevie Wonder check out Kung Fu and Nigel Hall’s tribute, amazing! Three days of fantastic music, check it out.
My favorite from last week was Alex Grey’s talk at the Visionary Arts Fair please check it out and join and continue this discussion. Also Betsy Franck, Deja, Vu Tia Madre and everyone at the Empty Stocking Fund benefit.
This week we have AIDS Athens/MAC AIDS fund benefits, a two night tribute to Lou Reed, Toys For Tots Toy Drive, and in Atlanta Caroline Aiken, Ramdall Bramblett, Col. Bruce and a ton of other great musicians are at the Holiday Hootenanny benefit for Habitat for Humanity.
Don’t forget the Winter Solstice is Sat. Finally the days will be getting longer!

I won’t be recording until Ty & Kelly’s wedding and breathlanes on Thurs. Fri I can’t decide between Chuck Leavell and Deja Vu at GATH and the Lou Reed tribute. Sat is definitely the Lou Reed tribute. Sun I’ll try for Hendershot’s, I have a hard time remembering to go to Sun shows, probably something to do with Sun following Sat night.
I hope to see y’all at the shows.
Peace and Love,
