Music This Week Dec 16th thru Dec 22nd

Hey there,
Thank you to everyone that attended the Paul Scales UpScales benefit and the Strung Out Like the Lights at Christmas benefit. Both were fantastic shows, I’ll have them posted this week.  I do have the Ralph Roddenbery show posted.
A lot of great shows this week, I’ll probably be in town at least four nights. Wed for Ty Manning opening for some guy named Leon Russell. Thurs for Hot Club of Athens, Sat for Grassland String Band and Mon for the show I’m the most excited to see, Rick Williams’ Blues Olympics, a benefit for the Carl Lindberg Memorial Scholarship for Camp Amped
I can’t believe this weather. I haven’t been indoors during the day all month, Actually yesterday I was out picking camellias and out of nowhere a pouring rain storm came through.. I was soaked to the skin before I could run back inside.. We are about to turn the corner and the days will start getting longer next week. The winter solstice is Tues the 22nd. I can’t wait.
Joe Craven’s show tonight was fantastic, He was very engaging, articulate, funny, clever and an  incredibly talented musician. I really liked the sound.of his octave mandolin.
