Music This Week Aug 18th thru Aug 25th

Hey there,
Wow, we have some great music lined up for this week. If you can’t find something to listen to you need to expand your musical repertoire. There are new superbands like Hard Working Americans and legends like The Georgia Healers who have been around for the last 25 years. We even have Billy Bob Thornton and his band, I wonder if he’ll have his Swingblade.
I only went to one show last week, Copious Jones. It was, as, always, a fantastic show. It is posted, check it out. Don’t let the opening Latin flavored song throw you, they cranked out some incredible rock with searing guitar licks and beautiful vocals.
I had an epiphany from that show that will affect my personal music schedule. I have torn something in my shoulder but it was healing nicely. The tear is exacerbated by quick sudden movements. I had to catch my mic stand from being knocked over several times and that is what is causing the problem. For the near future I’ll be going to shows where I can set up and not have to stay constantly on guard fending off drunks.
On a much more positive note, here is some real nice eye candy:

Y’all know I’m a hippie attracted by bright pretty colors.
