Music This Week Aug 10th thru Aug 16th

Hey there,
Lots of great music this week with Popfest, Abbey Road live, Timi Conley, and Taxicab Verses to name a few. My problem is I’m an Olympics junkie (that’s why this post is late) and I may not make it into town this week.
I went to Broad River Fest last weekend and have it posted. Enjoy!
If you are tired of politics, skip down to the music recommendations.
Let me say that this is my one and only post in my blog like this. I don’t feel politics are appropriate for this blog. When it comes to politicians I’m an agnostic, I don’t believe in them. I have said for decades that we need a None Of The Above choice on our ballots. If None Of The Above wins we throw out the ones on the ballot and start over. I’ll bet the majority of people in both parties would like for that to already be in place.
You can’t believe how surprised I was that Trump actually said something I agree with, that the vote is rigged. The reason I said it is for decades the incumbents have been gerrymandering the voting districts and your vote doesn’t really count. The electoral college IS rigged How else does the most ineffectual, corrupt Congress by any measuring stick get a 90% re-election rate? I’m sure Trump said it to set up the excuses for why he will loose the election. He probably, like most Americans, doesn’t have a clue how the electoral college works.
Don’t think I’m for Hillary because I said this about Trump. I am for tearing down the whole voting system and creating a new paradigm.  We have the technology to create a system where every vote can actually count. Wouldn’t that be nice Bernie fans?
I have a lot more to say but again it is not appropriate for this blog. If you want to discuss this further I’ll start a new blog. Please let me know and thank y’all for letting me vent.
