Music This Week April 9th thru April 15th

Hey there,
Another quickie, I’m packing to head to Wanee. A lot of great music in town this week due to bands heading to Wanee. Umphery’s McGee and Tedeschi trucks I’ll catch at Wanee. I highly recommend them as well as Lazy Locomotive tonight, Consider the Source and Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band tomorrow and Squisch on Sat. For you morning people there is a great lineup at the Athens Farmers Market with Hope For Agoldensummer and Caroline Aiken. There are several Nuçi’s Space events please support them, it is for a great cause and is always a lot of fun. I hope to be back Mon for The HOOT! and Adam Payne & Friends.
An update for tonight, the Tuesday Confessional will feature Ryan Boss, Drew Kohl and Andy Leichty.
If you haven’t heard about the Riverbend Festival, here is the link: thanks to Jay Braver for letting me know about it. The Widespread Panic 3 hour set is worth the $40 wristband for the 8 days festival.
Don’t forget the 36th AHRF Battle of the Bands is April 19th at Nuçi’s Space. This is a battle for the last two slots on stage during the Athens Human Rights Festival May 3rd and 4th. There is still time to sign up.
