Music This Week Dec 31st thru Jan 6th

Hey there,
I hope y’all have a safe and Happy New Year!!!
My New Year’s resolution is I will finally start using my personal Facebook account. Since I haven’t found a way to clone myself, I will be drastically cutting back on my recording. I know I’ve said this before but this time I mean it. I will record some of the legacy shows like the HOOT , Big C’s Blues Jam, AHRF,etc. but I am setting a max of 3 shows a week. I may attend more shows but I won’t be recording. If any you would like to step up to continue the archive please let me know. I believe I have found a way to turn the content control of a band’s page to the band, again please let me know if you are interested.
My favorite show of last week was Caroline Aiken.
NYE is definitely the Revivalists at GA Theatre! I knew about this show months ago and I didn’t know about breathlanes at the Globe so I’ll be recording at both shows.

Music This Week Dec 24th thru Dec 30th

Hey there,
Merry Christmas and all other seasonal well wishes. I hope you all have a safe and happy holiday and may you be this happy:
Sad news, we lost an incredible musician, Joe Cocker who passed away from lung cancer. I was fortunate to see him live a couple of times. He was also in one of my favorite music videos, Mad Dogs and Englishmen (Live at Pompeii, Festival Express, Secret World – Live, Woodstock and 200 Motels also favorites).
A light schedule of music this week but still some gems.
My favorites from last week were Kelly and Ty’s anniversary party (especially the set with Isaac and Randall Bramblett), Blues Olympics and Atlanta’s Holiday Hootenanny.
I have been going nuts lately because of problems with the website. I couldn’t upload yesterday and today I can’t build the web pages. Today I read the email from Go Daddy explaining my site was so large they moved it to another server. I still haven’t implemented all the changes required to fix all the problems but hope to do so soon. I have the Hootenanny ready to post, Fortunately I already posted Kelly & Ty’s show.
